The rules have now been re-done in order to fit to the growing server's needs. Please read through all of them and ensure that you understand and abide by these rules when posting on the forums.

Please note these rules apply solely to these forums and do not affect anything in-game. For in-game rules please see Game Rules in the section above.

These rules apply to ALL SECTIONS OF THE FORUMS.

Here are the list of updated rules and their corresponding punishment if broken:

1. Read the pinned topics and rules before you post in a section. If there are no rules in that section, please follow these basic outlines. No section on the forums has no rule jurisdiction.

2. Advertising of other Ragnarok Online servers is strictly prohibited. Discussion of other MMORPGs other than Ragnarok Online are permitted. Minor advertising is mentioning a server name without abbreviation and will net you a +10% warn level and full out advertising will result in complete deletion of account.

3. Multi-posting is absolutely prohibited. This means you cannot double post, triple post, quadruple post, etc., etc. Multi-posting will automatically result in a +10% warn level and if done often enough, your post count will be reduced by 50%. The only exception to this rule is if you absolutely, positively must bump a topic and nobody else has replied. You may only bump a topic once every 3-5 days. Failure to comply will result in a +10% warn level.

4. Absolutely no necroposting. Necroposting is the act of posting in a topic that has been inactive for at least a month. Anyone caught doing this will receive a +10% warn level and a 50% reduction in post count for each month the thread has been inactive.

5. Flaming, flame baiting, harassment, or provocation is strictly forbidden in all forums. Anyone caught doing this will receive a 1 day posting suspension as well as a 50% reduction in post count. Repeated flaming will result in account deletion.

6. Do not abuse the report topic feature. This feature should only be used to report harmful/inappropriate material which requires to be removed immediately. Failure to comply will result in a +10% warn level and 1 day posting suspension.

7. Please do not post any adult content (pornography) or anything disturbing (ie. linking to shock sites, etc.) that might offend our users. Failure to comply, depending on severity, will result in +30% warn level to complete account termination.

8. Never post about the server being down. Failure to comply will result in 1 day posting suspension.

9. Signatures must not be too large. If they are, you may place them inside [ sig ], or [ signature ] BBCode tags. (Without the spaces). Signatures must also not contain any disturbing or offending material. Failure to comply will result in signature deletion.

10. You are responsible for what comes from your forum account. If you should be suspended for any reason, it is not our fault. We do not give suspensions or warns, you earn them.

11. Please post your topic in the right section. Failure to comply will result in +10% warn level and thread deletion.

12. Do not Spam.

13. This is an English forum, so please post in English. If you are going to post in another language, please provide a translation in the same post in English.

14. Do not post sarcastic guides in the Game Discussion section. Failure to comply will result in post count reduction to 0 and +20% warn level.

15. An administrator, moderator, or Game Master may close, edit, delete, or move your threads at any time without prior consent.

16. Here are the forum warn level guidelines, chosen by the Administrators. Everyone starts out at a 0% Warn Level, this means you've been perfect. The maximum is 100%, but I'm sure nobody is that bad. If you get warned once, you gain +10% to your total level. When you get 30%, your account is suspended for 3 days. (That's 3 warns.) When you reach 40%, you get a 5 day suspension. 50% means a 10-day suspension. And anything above, 60%+ means a permanent suspension. This means it's impossible to reach 100%, and the max is truly 60.
